Affiliation with Bradford & District Chess Association
The Bradford Knights Chess Academy is proud to announce its formal affiliation with the Bradford & District Chess Association (the “BDCA”).
Our respective organisations have agreed to work together to encourage the development of junior chess in the Bradford and District geographical area. To this end the BDCA have generously provided start up funding for the Academy to assist in the creation of the Academy and the purchase of equipment to get the Academy up and running.
The BDCA have also agreed to provide the Academy coaches with CRB checks through their established CRB approvals process.
The Academy will in turn keep the BDCA regularly update in relation to the Academy’s progress and successes. An annual report will also be published by the Academy to formally update the BDCA on these activities.
We would like to thank the BDCA for their support for the Academy and look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship with them.
